The 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, which was supposed to be held in Palexpo from March 25th to March 29th is postponed to September. Due to the epidemic of Coronavirus striking in Asia, a very important actor of the Exhibition with a strong presence of inventions from China and Hong Kong.
Nearly 50% of exhibitors come from the Asian continent, a third of which from China and a third from Hong Kong. As obtaining visas and planning the trip to Geneva by air is becoming increasingly difficult for inventors from all over the world, the Exhibition management has chosen to be wise and decided to postpone the largest event of its kind in the world until September.
“We cannot imagine opening an exhibition that does not represent the mission we have been pursuing for many years, namely being a platform of visibility for the inventions from all over the world for which the WIPO grants us its patronage” declared Gaëlle Grosjean, Director of the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva.
